So, I finally design my own cat burglar and…Well, just like  the first  concept art of Jay Platinum, over time I will fix her look once I draw her again, but I have a name, a backstory and a personality for her.
Her name is Sam Midnight, she’s 35 years old, she’s been in the thieving world for over 15 years (Professorially. She kinda started when she was 10, but that was more for fun)
Midnight is top cat in the underground world, you commission her to steal something and she’ll get it for you. Sadly, after spending so many years running from the cops, stealing  jewelry, etc, the chase and thrill  are slowly becoming numb to her. She doesn’t want to change careers, mainly cause being a bad guy pays more, but she modded her outfit a bit. Back then she used to wear all black, but now she added a little bell and change the left side of her pants into a bright color to draw attention. She’s pretty much giving herself a handicap to draw the cops attention. She rarely stays in one city: She goes to a city for few months, steal whats she needs, and leaves. But the city where BB and RP works drew her attention.

I don’t have a nickname for her yet. If you guys got a nickname for her, send one.

Disney’s Comic Strip Artist’s Kit by Carson van Osten.

You might know these already, but it is such good stuff I don’t think anybody minds if I share it here again. These hand-outs were meant as a way to get beginning artists working on the Disney comics to overcome some recurring drawing problems.

I found this on Mark Kennedy’s awesome blog: Temple of the Seven Golden Camels. Hence the ‘To Mark’ dedication on the fist page which, I guess, features some pretty sound advice for any artist:

“Just keep drawing my friend… Draw like the wind!”
