People completely misunderstand what White Pride is. I hate being vilified for the love I have for my heritage.
We completely understand what white pride is. You’re the one who doesn’t.
“White” is not a culture or heritage. “White” is not something to be proud of. The term “white” was created by slave owners and colonial rulers back in the 17th century. European colonists needed a term to replace “Christian” and “Englishman” so that they could be distinguished from Africans and indigenous people. They had established white as a legal concept after Bacon’s Rebellion in 1676 during which indentured servants of European and African descent had united against the colonial elite. The legal distinction of white separated the servant class on the basis of skin color and continental origin. It was a racial classifier used to contrast with the “inferior” races. So basically, the creation of “white” originated from the idea that light skinned people were superior and that they were not to be associated with POC.
That is why you’re vilified for “loving” whiteness. White pride is nothing but racism.
Here we go again with another “white people are evil” post.
1) “White” is not a culture or heritage. “White” is not something to be proud of.”
White people come from Europe, which is filled with vast culture and heritage. OP, and everyone of European descent, has every right to be proud of their European heritage.
Here are just a few examples of culture from a few countries in Europe:

I could add more from each country above and show more from many other countries in Europe, but that would take far too long. People with ancestry from anywhere in Europe have every right to be proud of their heritage!
2) Out of the 10.7 million African slaves that survived the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade, only about 388,000 slaves came to America. The majority of the slaves went to the Caribbean and South America, with Brazil receiving 4.86 million Africans alone. Yet, people don’t make South Americans feel bad for this at all. (x)
3) I hope you realize that every race has had slaves and conquests, not just white people. “For instance, the very word “slave” stems from “Slav,” i.e. a reference to the experience of millions of (white) Slavish people who endured centuries of slavery at the hands of African Muslims.” (x)
Perhaps you know about the Barbary Slave trade, where millions of white people were enslaved and treated horrendously.
“[Ohio State University history professor Robert] Davis estimates that 1 million to 1.25 million white Christian Europeans were enslaved in North Africa, from the beginning of the 16th century to the middle of the 18th, by slave traders from Tunis, Algiers, and Tripoli alone (these numbers do not include the European people which were enslaved by Morocco and by other raiders and traders of the Mediterranean Sea coast), and roughly 700 Americans were held captive in this region as slaves between 1785 and 1815. 16th- and 17th-century customs statistics suggest that Istanbul’s additional slave import from the Black Sea may have totaled around 2.5 million from 1450 to 1700.”
“While African slaves did grueling labor on sugar and cotton plantations in the Americas, European Christian slaves were often worked just as hard and as lethally – in quarries, in heavy construction, and above all rowing the corsair galleys themselves.”
Muslims in Arab countries still to this day own slaves. (x) They have enslaved over 150 million African people and at least 50 million from other parts of the world. (x)
Also, North Korea sends thousands upon thousands of their own people abroad as slaves. (x)
4) Racism towards white people exists, whether you choose to believe it or not. This is the definition of racism:

That’s what racism is, not your made up definition of it. It can happen towards any race, including whites.
Hate crimes towards white are extremely common throughout the world.
Here are just a few examples:
I could go on and on about other violent attacks against whites, but hopefully you get the point. Many of these attacks aren’t ever heard of for numerous reasons, the main one being the fact that non-whites kill white people even more than white people kill non-whites destroys the ridiculous politically-correct ideas that white privilege exists and that you can’t be racist towards whites.
Being white is nothing to be ashamed of. Our European heritage is filled with rich culture and is something to be proud of.
Every race is guilty of crimes, yet white people are the only ones who are taught to feel bad.
Whites were slaves too, and were treated just as badly if not worse than African slaves.
Attacks against white people are extremely common, but everyone ignores them. You can be racist towards whites.
Oh, and I will NEVER apologize for being white. And whether you like it or not, I will always be proud of where my ancestors came from.
YES. THANK YOU. YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE SHAMED FOR YOUR SKIN COLOR OR FOR SOMETHING YOUR ANCESTORS MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE DONE.
THANK YOU. JUST. THANK YOU.
BRILLIANTLY SAID.
I think being proud of ones skin color, black or white, is kind of silly.
Be proud of ones family, heritage, and country but skin color is broad and, in my opinion, pointless.
^^^^^
100% agree, @maricaforamerica Skin coloration is simply a difference in the melanin content of your skin due to the latitude you live at. That’s all it ever has been.
