Rebellion to reprint Wagner, Grant & McMahon’s ‘The Last American’
Rebellion is proud to announce that it is to reprint John Wagner, Alan Grant, and Mick McMahon’s post-apocalyptic series The Last American.
Originally published in 1990 by Marvel Comics’ Epic imprint, the series was last reprinted by Com.X in 2004 but has since remained out of print.
But now the publishers of 2000 AD are bringing out a new edition in April 2017.

Written as the Reagan administration came to a close, The Last American takes place 20 years after a global nuclear war, when Captain Ulysses S Pilgrim is awakened from suspended animation to discover what is left of the world. But as the truth begins to sink in - that he is, in fact, the last American - Pilgrim’s mind begins to turn on itself and delves into how he came to survive the calamity that claimed the world.
This stunning series marks the end but also the creative height of the writing partnership between John Wagner and Alan Grant, who worked extensively together on Judge Dredd and Strontium Dog for 2000 AD. Meanwhile, the unique style of Mick McMahon that made him a fan favourite reaches its zenith with pages that speak of unspeakable destruction and oppressive isolation, his muted colours used to maximum effect as Pilgrim discovers that he is a stranger in a strange land.

Keith Richardson, graphic novels editor at Rebellion, said: “A collected edition of Wagner, Grant and McMahon’s multifaceted mini-series is long overdue. As terrifying and darkly humorous as it was way back in 1990, The Last American is as relevant as ever in these modern, turbulent times.”
The Last American will be available on both sides of the Atlantic in print and digital in April 2017.
I never posted these here because I was shy at the time but these are a couple of commissions I got about a year ago from @bittenhardly of Cotton!
Busty bunny has had enough of your shenanigans.
EDIT: added the culprit too.
